What this site knows about you

Short version: close to nothing. fernstack sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other servers.

What the site does not do

• No cookies, local storage or anything that remembers you between visits.
• No analytics, tracking pixels or fingerprinting.
• No third party scripts, fonts, videos or embeds. Every file comes from fernstack.net.
• No accounts, forms or mailing lists, so there is nothing for you to fill in.

What the server may record

Like almost every web server, the one behind fernstack.net can keep a basic access log: the IP address that made a request, the time, the address that was asked for and the browser name it sent. Such logs exist only to keep the site running and to stop abuse. They are never sold, shared for advertising or used to build a profile of anyone.

The copy button

The button that copies the feed address writes that one address to your clipboard when you press it. It never reads anything from your clipboard.

Feed readers

If you subscribe to the RSS feed, your reader fetches one small file from time to time. To the server that looks like any other visit.

Changes

If any of this changes, the date beside this page changes with it.
