How you can use what is here
Short version: read freely, reuse the code, link back when you quote the text, and check things before you run them on a machine you care about.
Reading
Everything on fernstack is free to read. There is no account, no paywall and nothing to cancel.
Code
Code shown in the notes and the scripts that run this site are released under the MIT license, unless a note says otherwise. You can copy, change and use them in your own work, including commercial work.
Text and drawings
The writing and the drawings belong to the author. Short quotes are welcome as long as they link back to the note they came from. Please ask before republishing a whole note.
No warranty
Notes describe experiments. They are shared as they are, without any warranty, and they may be wrong or out of date by the time you read them. Each note shows its date and changelog so you can judge that yourself.
Links to other sites
Some notes point to other websites. Those sites have their own rules, and fernstack has no control over what they publish.
Changes
If these terms change, the date beside this page changes with them.
